Spaniards on the stream of winning

Once again, Spain rattled its opponent Portugal with its meticulous tactics of passing and attacking panache and led themselves for 1-0 victory. None other but David Villa who has impressed a lot by precision striking in FIFA world cup this year and scored his fourth goal of the tournament.

I always wished Spain to win over Portugal as it is one of the most favorites teams of mine after Brasil. Spain was quite aggressive from outset and had almost 62% possession of the ball in first half. Fernando Torres and David Villa breached the defensive wall of Portugal in first ten minutes and hit 3 likely goals that were saved by brilliance of Portugal Goalie Eduardo. Torres once again was unlucky to score a goal after having terrific killing instinct of attacking.

A trademark Spanish passing found in the centre where Iniesta flicked the ball through Xavi who backheeled to Villa for charging in the left in the second half. The most expensive modern footballer Cristiano Ronaldo could not impress the world except he became the spectator of Spanish team work and quality passing. It seems that he is, yet, puffed up with unwanted pride after joining Real Madrid and did not inspire any of his team mate.

So we will surely see some more bombardments from Spain against Paraguay on Saturday and it looks that Spain will be ferocious in quarterfinal.

The pot calling the kettle black

In a very bizarre manner, the Ahmedabad Municipality Corporation filed a 10 Crore defamation suit against Canadian citizen who is an animal rights activist, Ms. Lisa Warden. She has been accused of running a slander campaign against the civic body and uploading a controversial video on YouTube about how the dogs are caught by civic authorities.

Warden voiced against the primitive and barbaric method of trapping the stray dogs and she objected that the use of iron tongs instead of the net had been used. This sparked the spat between her and the civic body and later filed a suit some 1o days ago stating that Warden was intentionally trying to run down its reputation, extortion and abetting crime by snatching those iron tongs from the office of AMC.

Warden has been absconding ever since a writ petition has been made and no body knows till now for her whereabouts. Warden's threating email to the commissioner has put her in trouble and AMC got the opportunity to payback.

Whatever it may be! I have never seen the civic body trapping the stray dogs by net but only the iron tongs which is very barbaric and against the rights of dumb and deaf animals. Keep aside her threating email, atrocities and inhumane treatment against animals are common these days and when somebody stands up against this menace, s/he is hushed by either power of governing bodies or a syndicate of goons.

When Salman Khan was being prosecuted for poaching the black buck, our other national fellows were waiting for him for a glimpse and an autograph outside the Honorable Court disregarding what he did to the endangered species...

In a crux, the powerful institutions and people suppress the voice of justice and they do the mockery of our judicial system! Thank God, our Supreme Courts, the brighter side of tomorrow, are neutral in their verdict otherwise some elements have tried to convert this modern world in to the jungle.

FIFA World Cup 2010

With a great enthusiasm and expectation, I started watching the matches of Czars: the teams those dominated the world of football. It has been a history that Europeans and Latins run down teams of African and Asian Nations. Apparently, the game of Football is adored like God in these peoples and its passion runs through the veins of their. Before the ball of the first match kicked in, I fancied that teams such as Spain, Brazil, Argentina, England, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Portugal would delight every spectator across the globe, unknowing the fact that some of these teams have not met any expectations whatsoever and surprised the world with shockers

Latins have exhilarated the Football lovers with their performance especially Brazil and Argentina which seem to be as strong as their history and the never die spirit of them perplexed the opponents. Their goal targets are in precision and as usual, they don't pass the ball but they caress it to the fellows to make the opponents search for it through the gaps. Whereas, Europeans have made the mockery of their brand image and performed as novice.

Germans, French, English, Spanish and Italians have tarnished their reputation with their own hands and their regular playing participation of EPL and UEFA Champions League have not benefited them for such a prestigious and grand event of world cup 2010. Their defense has been battered by the new comers and their inability to score the goal has put all most of every team of the Europe on the brink of disqualifying for next stage except now God's miracle and the poor performance of others can salvage their reputation. This is how these teams have played.

This poor performance of biggies can be, precisely, equated with Indian Cricket Experience of IPL. All our Indian Players shine like a star and collapse when they have to play on the soil of New Zealand and West Indies where they are unable to maneuver the ball on the bouncy track. And these days, the playing with the Clubs has been prioritized by players as that satisfies and fills their pockets. Over commercialization of the games jeopardies the performance of the players when they play for the nation. Another fact of this failure can be related to the clashing of egos of the big players when they play together and dependency on each other's performance lead to the disastrous results.

I wish that the European Teams may regain their performance in the nick of time or the Latins sound to be the favorite for the coronation of world cup 2010.

The best part of this world cup is that you happen to watch the blonde beauty: Shakira

Canada Overview

Canada offers a vast array of activities to the visitors to choose from. The country has something for visitors of all ages. Some of the best offerings of Canada include skiing, sailing, museum combing, and of course, a beautiful landscape spread across the length and breadth of the country. Far from the Maple syrups and Mounties, Canada is now know for multiple reasons.

Head straight to Canada's western regions if you are really keen on experiencing the rustic charm where some of the choicest locations are there to dazzle your eyes and mind. The European travelers will feel at home while traveling to the eastern part of Canada because of the facilities and amenities offered there. How can I miss something for Nature Lovers who will absolutely relish themselves to the largely uninhabited Northern Part that prides of exotic wildlife.

Canadian history has been something that to know about it. The country has nearly a dozen distinct groups of Inuits (Canadian ethnic Eskimos) settled in northern regions. The Inuits strongly believe that their land had been usurped by the previous governments, similar to the situation of Aborigines in Australia. After some protests, around 350,000 square kilometers (135,135 square miles) of area belonging to Northwest Territories was ceded to the Inuits in 1991 and anointed as the semi-autonomous region of Nunavut Territory. Some more land and autonomy was bestowed to the Inuits in 1999.

Canadian Government was smart to deal this controversial matter. Why not? The country has been gifted with the vast barren land and mounties against the low population and ceding some area of land especially in the norther region where surviving for the layman in the freezing weather is almost not chosen. Most inhabitants are settled along the US-Canada border.

Perhaps the stunning beauty is attributed to the struggle for control over this huge country. The country is almost two and a half times larger than India. The Anglo-French war during 17th Century over Canada resulted in the falling of French Canada capital of Quebec to English General Wolfe. Afterwards, the Americans also did not leave any stone unturned to unsuccessfully control Canadian territories and seize control from the British after the British defeat in the American War of Independence.

In 1791, Canada was divided into linguistic regions with French and English speaking folks. However, this arrangement did not last longer and failed to a unified system. Today, Canada is a peaceful multi culture country following its independent foreign policy. To quote an instance, Canada did not favor US allied forces invading Iraq and surprisingly they have British Monarch as its Head of state. The country is simply amazing when you consider that it is divided into six time zones and borders three of he world's four ocean

Canada Immigration - a heavenly abode

India has been a predominantly an immigrant society and this passion can be experienced when you see Indians settle in every part of the world flourishing and progressing peacefully. The key countries such as USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and many other where you find a huge community of Indians these days and most of them are trying to in sync with the culture of western and eastern both.

Recently, the applications for Permanent Residence and Student Visa has increased many fold and this situation is attributed to many reasons likewise the strong Indian Community Settlement by which the support of country fellows is available, a decent lifestyle, a better job opportunities with the handsome package, the inborn passion for settling overseas for some, kith and kins, etc.

Canada's points score requirement reduced from 75 to 67 on 18 September 2003. It means that there has been a considerable increase in the number of people who meet Canadian Visa requirement and they have been able to see their dreams come true to settle in North America. The previous requirement of 75 points was very much stringent that led the highly qualified and skilled intended immigrants failed their applications for Permanent Residence or made them ineligible to lodge their applications. In 2008, Canadian Government changed the regulation and introduced 38 occupations only under PR category that has been a great disappointment for many and a boon for some who qualify for this.

Canadian Immigration is assessed against 6 factors and the applicant needs to score 67 points out of these 6 factors. The 6 factors are Education (Maximum 25 points), English and French Language Ability (Maximum 24 points), Work Experience (Maximum 21 points), Age (Maximum 10 points), Arranged Employment (Maximum 10 points), and Adaptability (Maximum 10 points).

The process of the PR application usually takes from 6 to 12 months depending upon the application, the documents submitted, case loads with the department, risk perceived in each application, authenticating and verifying the documents and many more stages from which the application routes through.

My first step to the blogging

Bizarrely, I believe that I am one of the late bloggers in this net savvy world. However, I am strongly of opinion that we are never too late for anything in our life.

After experiencing Orkut and Facebook, I got tired somewhat of such social sites as they are only meant for gossiping and I think that this platform does help you develop about what is going in the mind of your mates and others.

Let see how I feel about this and keep you updated for my experience
